Fishing Vessels
Self-guided:
The resort’s fleet of fishing tenders consists of safe, stable, 16 and 17 foot welded aluminum boats. These boats have been custom built in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, with local waters, and fishing in mind. They are powered by quiet, reliable 40 or 50 h.p. Honda four stroke outboard motors, which push the skiffs at a top speed of 27 m.p.h. The motors are equipped with trouble-free, automatic trolling plates that slow the boats down for the best troll, perfect for motor mooching cut-plug herring.
All un-guided vessels and safety equipment are Canadian Coast Guard Approved. The boats contain Lowrance depth sounder/fish finders, VHF radios, automatic bilge pumps, first aid and rescue equipment, area charts, cushioned “Fish On” swivel seats, rod holders, large mouth landing nets, fish bonkers, bait coolers, beverage coolers, clean fish rags and fully stocked tackle boxes. Built-in features include: cutting boards, drink holders, and fish boxes with external drains. Boats are cleaned, re-fueled and restocked every time you come to the dock.
Guided:
Haa-Nee-Naa Lodge offers five fully loaded guide boats: two 21-foot Campion walk-arounds and three 19-foot Campion centre consoles. The guide boats are equipped with 130 and 150 hp Honda engines and a kicker motor for optimal mooching. Let our team of professional and fully-certified guides take care of you on the water.
